  1. if slaf is a penalty what about hutson getting crosschecked in the back on the oilers first goal, cherry picking moments doesn't make for good content.

  2. Anderson’s call should’ve been just a 10 no 2 min advantage, plus we didn’t even need that powerplay goal to have atleast sent it to overtime

  3. Banged his stick 7 times (not 3), and who knows what he was cussing?
The Oilers have been on the receiving end of officiating like this, so just enjoy it while you can, and be glad that they're rid of Kane without any retention.

  4. hope you guys will make a video about the after game in OILERS locker room. cauth on tap, MARTIN ST LOUIS went see MCDAVID , to tell him not to worry about how fans and players reactions. but guess what, the REFF where laughing and taking selfies with mcdavid. and they each hade a box of 20 jersey sing by mcdavid. they already on i-bay. ST LOUIS said to connor. this is how you want to win a cup, mcdavid reply all do anything to win its been over 2 years, and i want a cup. but what he not know is MARTIN ST LOUIS record the talk. the NHL got it and MONTREAL FILE A COMPLAINT. i hope you as i a true CANADIAN. Will not fear to call it out once NHL as rule. We not Trump and lies just breaks what makes hockey so special. please keep a open mind . thank you.

  5. Habs complaining about that penalty after the goal. Sorry, you can't have dissent. In Rugby you would be straight off. In football you get a yellow card.

  6. Habs got mugged on this one. No arguing it.

That being said, Oil need the pts. I won't turn them away.

Still, not a good sign when the team has to win this way, after givng up 4 goals in 5 minutes. 🤷‍♂

  7. 1:36 You talk about it because, just because you killed it, doesn't make it inconsequential and you should know this. I think you do know this.

  8. The point is these calls are so arbitrary. There's no consistency. The ref could've easily called a 10min misconduct to get Anderson off the ice and not give the Oilers another PP. That wasn't boarding. If the Oiler player doesn't fuckin dive like a little girl. Slaf barely even pushed him. Not boarding. Oilers. You've had two shots in a row to win the cup and blew it both times. Let's get another team that can actually win the cup.

  9. Matheson had his stick NOT BTN THE LEGS. The stick was across the shins and barely touched McDiver. What game are you watching!

  10. You guys are soft. When the NHL ( Betman’s league) was sued by players that had concussions. The lawyer got the emails of the NHL(I.e. Betman’s email). In those emails Betman’s clearly was talking to the head of the referees and talks about fixing games. Betman’s motive is to promote the NHL in the U.S. He wanted no Canadian team to make the playoffs.
The nhl fixes games. The problem is everyone knows it except the dumb people in the media who won’t say it.

  11. I noticed that the Canadiens in the 80s used to get favourable penalty calls. Now in the Betman’s era it is heavily against the Canadiens. That is why I know the Canadiens will never win a Stanley cup. Nor will the oilers. All thanks to Betman’s,

  12. Sad part is this happening to someone every night and the NHL does nothing about it. Officials need to be held to account.

  13. You guys need to get your facts straight. Gallagher and Marty asked the refs why Anderson received an unsportsmanlike penalty. They had no explanation for him. Listen to Gally's press interview. They also admitted fault on the Slaf penalty. Momentum clearly changed at that point. I guess they had to keep McDavid, McHappy.

In the end, a loss is a loss and this one was granted by the refs. Gallagher said it best, this team is talented enough, they don't need the refs to help them.

  14. Come on guys, it’s a game and as a Habs fan I can take it. But this “analysis” is so insanely one sided biased it’s hard to watch. Edmonton won fair and square, but we can also acknowledge that there were some shitty calls and the Habs got hosed by the refs. Doesn’t change the result, but you lose credibility when you openly lie about video footage you’re literally looking at.

  15. very clearly a biased analysis you oil fans, even leafs fans are saying that the officiating of that game was bullshit. is it the hab's fault for getting 2 bullshit penalties called on them? no. is it their fault that the oilers are a shitty team and cant win a game without the refs giving them a billion powerplays? no.

  16. those refs were so awful that i think they should lose their job. we have the right to think that maybe they got paid to do this because it just make no sense. penalties were called on some weak play when there should not have been any and what about calling a 2 minute misconduct on a player ? it was awful. i know connor mc david is a good player but i saw him fell on the ice for no reason like he fake to get a penalty called and thats what happened also a few times during the game. there was no call for embellishment but penalties against the habs instead. one of the worst officiating i ever saw in 50 years i watch nhl games.

  17. The things is one ref wasn’t really calling anything and the other was calling everything, so for me it’s more the inconsistency that was weird. But anyway our team shouldn’t lose focus cause of bad call. In a 82 games season ref will have bad calls, we’ll win some and lose some. At the end of the day MTL played a great hockey game and let’s use this one as a learning moments.

  18. The definition of only watching your players 😂😂😂 i mean have you seen the hit the oilers did!!!! NO CALL! You guys are delusional 😂

  19. The one that's highly questionnable and had the most impact on the result is Anderson's unsportsmanlike 2 min penalty… if the fault is solely against the umpires (like 100% here), there should not be a man advantage as a result… if vs an oilers player/team then yes but in this case absolotuely not!… should have been a 10 minute misconduct (like they gave Evans later on)… This to me is where the refs tilted the game and the habs outrage stems from. The league should clarify the unsportsmanlike penalty and what umpires can dish out.

  20. Your explanations were good, but you have to see the whole thing.

Bouchard made the same body check in the first period, without receiving a penalty. Yes, Slaf's elbow was in the number before the contact, but as you say, the referee's vision was obstructed during the impact by Suzuki. He therefore assumed the elbow hadn't moved from his back and reacted to the player's fall.

McDavid had dove 5 seconds before the tripping penalty was called on Matheson; the stick was in front of the player's pads, who forced the passage and fell. McDavid really wanted his powerplay.

Andersson's penalty was deserved if he really insulted the referee, but I understand it. But I think the referee knew they had screwed up, and we reacted emotionally.

  21. Not surprised with this reaction coming from a channel called Oilersnation lol . Refs took this game over and any reasonable hockey fan knows it.

  22. Stop defending the horrible reffing you are horrible pod cast lol not following you going no where haha
