  1. The Blues seem to have some issues with allowing 4 unanswered goals. Barring the mistakes our team made in our last meeting, this young D core is proving to be quite serviceable.

  2. Seider, Kasper combined stats : 1+2, DeBrincat just 2 goals so far this season, Kane is injured
and both goalies are under .900. This Red Wings team has sooooo much more in them. Crazy to play .700 hockey.
    – outside two last Blues games, tough schedule to start the season

  3. I’m glad Ras and Elmer had a bounce back game but they have to keep it up. one good game doesn’t meant you’re out of the dog house. keep playing big like the actual size you are and gg

  4. Is anyone concerned about the lack of points from Kasper?
I think he is playing well but he has wasted some decent scoring oportunities. I love the kid's effort.

  5. Schenn picked a fight with Hamonic because he saw the writing on the wall. Finnie/Larkin/Raymond were going to make it a tough time down the ice. That was going to be a Wings goal. Whatever. We dominated and deserved this W!!!

Also, went to the game with a fellow die hard Wings fan and some coworkers whom are blues fans.
I predicted 5-2 Red Wings. I’m just happy Detroit flat out was the better team in all periods!

  6. Forechecking was great, won the game. Gibson was really good. Fourth line stood out.
Nr 8 was awful on the that first shift but played great after that.
ASP and Johanson looks soo solid, like veteran defense men.
    😊

  7. Soderblom on the attack, carries the puck in, Blues defender plays the body and just gets run the fuck over. Love it.

  8. It was nice for the wings to let the blues fans get excited right away make it worth their trip comin out

  9. Gibson making timely saves to keep the boys in it last game against the Blues. And again last night making saves to keep the boys ahead.

The Wings haven’t been perfect this early season, but I like what I’ve seen.

  10. So many empty netters from inside their own zone for the wings this season. Must have been practicing those…

  11. Soderblom is steamrolling, Larkin remains en Fuego, Gibson looking very sharp in net, LGRW!

  12. "First time since 2010 the Red Wings have won 7 of 10." Sure but they were 6-3-1 at the start of 23-24. I know I'm a cynical a-hole but can we stop with these big proclamations as if they are now a Cup contender. It's a long season. Lets see what they do the rest of the season. Particularly, in March.
