Great win…great win! Once again…the crowd was not a factor. Incredible how quiet it was when two of the best teams in the NHL were playing. LaGreca even eluded to how subdued the crowd was throughout.

Pesce on his 1st shift after Colorado's 1st goal, you can see where he gets hit by the puck. Then after his next pass to gritz he knew he was hurt..went right off the ice to not return. Maybe hit him in side of back where pads are thin

Nemec and Luke are showing defensive laps at times, but got to give Nemec credit for contributing on other end this season. Curious to see if Luke -"warms" up at all, esp relegated to PP2.

This is not a doomer comment. I think Devils should consider rotating Noesen & LaChance. Noesen is not good so far and we need more bodies to hold the puck on the ozone. That’s the one big thing I think we need to fix. Meier has been a BEAST, but we need 2 more guys that can do what he does.

The long shifts the Avs had in our zone were caused by Luke not getting puck out or trying to skate it out. He’ll learn from it.

Whats up Ace. This was a very good game. Extremely competitive. We had adversity strike multiple times and we answered despite surrendering leads. And then to boot against a dangerous Colorado team. Its a team thats a chic pick to be one of nhls top clubs we took the punches and persevered. Jack is torrid hot right now. This was a great week. Wins at toronto for coach then wild win which I did expect. San Jose was a mental hurdle which we more than handled and then in a battle vs Avalanche we withstood and won an absolutely giant game. 16 out of 18 points early in season is gigantic to bank points early
