I was at the game. Walked out after the OT goal and immediately saw it get called back on a tv outside the rink. Lot of folks left the building and had no idea we won.
So glad you did this awesome late night broadcast I've never seen you guys do… Got home from work at 3:00 a.m. no ain't nothing about the game or any sports news today and actually got on YouTube by mistake then there was all kinds of Red wings & Lions video news then once I saw you guys and only being an hour ago I knew I missed some good plays & hear the good &bad thoughts on performance from GR Players that should be ready to come up

Gotta clean up the 6 on 5 at the end, that bit us in the backside several times last year, but amazing to kill off that penalty in OT and come back strong after the review. I love this Alex Debrincat take you had.. he had his legs moving all night, forcing plays, making things happen single handedly. Not only did he have 2 points but he was dialed in and making it happen. On and off the score sheet!
Until the 6 on 5 at the very end. That performance in the 3rd was the best that this wings team has played trying to sit on a lead. They stayed heavy on the forecheck and kept the puck in the offensive zone right up until the goalie was pulled.
Good teams don’t need to go into a defensive shell when leading late in games. Good teams don’t give up late 3rd period leads.

I stayed up later than normal watching this game. Turned it off as soon as LA scored in overtime. I was mad. Looked at the standings this morning and seen we had eight wins and I was so confused. Can’t believe that goal got reversed. What a nice surprise to wake up to.😂
Dude the refs in this game were awful at dropping the puck on faceoffs. We won a faceoff in OT and they blew the whistle to re do it.. Also I turned it once LA scored in OT and found out on X that it was going to a shootout so I turned it back and was lucky enough to watch it in time. I think this happened once last year too.

What a great day to be a hockey fan! I screwed up last night. I turned off the game after the "OT goal." I get up today, look at last night's scores and see the results. To a point Scotty made regarding assists after the secondary. I've always thought that anyone part of a play should get an assist. Why only 2 if it was passed by 3 or 4? Would ramp up points which isn't a bad thing. If it's a big issue due to records (I hate that excuse) we could add another tracking category.

So I definitely turned the game off as soon as I saw Talbot skating straight off the ice after the OT goal.
I was shocked when the goal came back, especially because Talbot didn’t seem to react like he’d been interfered with.

I care about faceoffs a lot too. Last year Copp was way better at faceoffs than this year. Larkin has been utterly dominant at faceoffs. Tavares is probably still better than him but Larkin has to be top 10 in the NHL at faceoffs
Berggren has been playing like he wants more ice time and like he wants to remain with the Wings. Ive seen as much defense out of him the last few games as I have seen in his total time in Detroit. When this guy works hard, the puck seems to find him and opportunities follow. When he plays like a secondary player, he becomes invisible on the ice.
