Leafs have not played one good game. The fact that they had to go to OT with Buffalo after Buffalo beat them the night before is mind boggling.

The real craziness is the Leafs played 2 teams that made the playoffs, they beat montreal and jersey showed them how far they are from being a good team. I understand that they need to gel that's not a problem but another point they brought was Laughton, this guy is a career plummer, if we get 15 goals out of him, that's a bonus, I don't know what people expect from him but it shouldn't be that much. And, this is by far the easiest schedule they've ever had…
If they had won in the regular game would be better.

Last week everyone was having a fit (especially Steve) over how poor the Leafs were playing, and once they beat the Sabres, in OT mind you, magically things are okay. This is why many of us don’t take your sports talk seriously and only watch for the reactions. Read the comments, a lot of calling you out regarding your takes.

Since 2016-17 this team has had terrible Octobers. With marner or without. With Babcock, with Keefe, with Berube, and all the various assistants. With Freddy, with Jack, with Joe, with Anthony and all the various back-ups. The constant upheaval of our bottom 6 and assistant coaches means 2 of our lines always need to find themselves and theres a new system to install. This year injuries made it worse. People need to take a beat on this sky-is-falling hysteria. Woll is almost back. Laughton is getting closer. Tanev shouldnt be out much longer either. And this team's record in novemver after these bad octobers is incredible.
Lets be real here, and look at previous years after 10 games :
2024-25 : 5-4-1
2023-24 : 5-3-2
2022-23 : 4-4-2
2021-22 : 5-4-1
2020-21 : 7-2-1
And this year : 4-4-1
Other than that 20-21 season in past five years…TML is still going pretty much the pace they've been going every year. Sure, we're always expecting more, but clearly the team doesn't know how to play together, and they might be just finding it out. And while I agree that I'd trade Domi away, he really hasn't gotten an easy time of playing so far. On the other hand, who has? Knies and Matthews are a pair on the first line, but in 9 games, we've had Nylander, Maccelli, Domi and Jaernkrok playing with them, and the previous game they blew out that line entirely. So who exactly are they getting to gel WITH, if they keep switching'em up every damn game? Pick a line and stick with for some ten games or so, you got a whole damn season ahead of you to mix'n match later.
Yeah trade Domi!!! Next is Marner. Toronto will be great when they trade Marner…….
This year kinda reminds me of the year after mcdavid came into the league. The game had a huge transition into more kids playing and the speed at which the game is played gave a ton of regular vets a hard time. we are watching the game pass by alot of guy right now. Leafs look slow and old. There's alot of other organizations having this issue.
the leafs have the easiest schedule in the nhl , they play 16 of their first 20 games at home and only face3 playoff teams , with the leafs weak schedule they have only manage to win 2 games in regulation , domi 7 points are from 4 games , 2 of them were already over when he got points, your stats dont tell the whole story

Beat the Sabers in OT. Barely beat the Flames, who are the worst team in the league. Yesterday they got caved by Columbus. They need sustained success to be back on track.
