I’m concerned regarding Marco Kasper’s performance. I hope he begins producing more and gets out of his Sophomore Slump.
Disagree with Raymond and Debrincat. They are not hot at all
Kasper is getting chances and playing alright, he is just not having things bounce his way. In the last game he had one go off his skate and went through the blue instead of into the net. He also had a coast-to-coast that was stopped. I'm pretty sure his goals/points will come.
I have a question: why does everyone have to be hot?
It's a team sport, after all. Some players are more responsible for defense and others for offense. Yes, goals are important, blah blah blah, but so is not conceding goals, right?
If I don't concede a goal, 1 goal is enough to win, or am I wrong?
I know that few Americans appreciate defensive play at all, see soccer. For you, it's the most boring sport because not much happens, but why? Because defensive play is just as important.

Who would you rather play than asp? We dont have a lot of depth at d and hamonic is not consistent enough or talented enough to replace him. Let the kid make mistakes here, he will learn and it wont phase him.
Copp has been playing hard and hes been the only consistent player on the third line. Hes not going to get you a ton of ppints with his play style. He givea you a hard forecheck a hardback check and solid pk. Hes there til danielson is ready.

I remember saying "what are they thinking" when they got rid of Nyquist and Tatar… Tatar had 17 points last year in 74 games…obviously not what we fans thought he would be.
I am curious though if people think getting rid of Nyquist was a win or a mistake? He got 75 points in 81 games with Nashville in 2023-24 (last full season with one team) and costs 3.25 million?

Wings are off to a good start, but, some of their numbers aren’t that great. Scoring from the leaders is spotty, goaltending is sub .900 , and they have a big western road trip coming up. If they can come thru that over .500 they should be in good shape heating into a nice home stand !!!
