    Only question now is can the great #8 can catch the great one #99 over all goal records.

    He remains healthy both are within his reach while playing in the NHL. More so if he plays overseas like Jagr.
    Hope he is able to, as he deserves too as there were the strikes and covid seasons he missed games or he would have broken them already.

    900 goals is unbelievable. What's more unbelievable is the Caps being relevant for the last 20 years, I remember them being the personification of irrelevance (ditto the penguins). Ovechkin and Crosby saved those teams and this league. Unbelievable stuff.

    If not for multiple lockouts and covid shortened seasons the Great 8 could or would have passed 1000 goals. Hopefully he plays long enough to get 1000 goals 🏒🥅🐐
