Well see when we play teams like carolina,nj,Vegas we did beat Edmonton. I said before the season as long as they compete and i want to watch them I'll be happy im gonna keep that energy until December then I'll see how we look .

Yes, they could be. Just not this year. The fan base needs to accept this season will be a long one. However, there is a bright side to this. I truly do, believe in Sullivan. While I've been harsh with my take about the Rangers this year. I do have high expectations for next year. First, bread's contract runs out after this season. So that will free up 11.6 million in cap space. I can even see Bread, being moved at the deadline as part of a blockbuster type of deal. He's still got value within the league. I know his got a full NMC but I can see him waiving it if the right teams comes asking for his services. If not, then the Rangers still free up that 11.6 million in cap space. They can easily get two or maybe even three solid players with that money that could work better in Sullivan's system. I also really like the kid Noah. I think he's better then what most people give him credit for. Rangers also have Quick's backup ready to replace him, next season with Dylan Garand. So there long term goaltending situation is already taken care of. Just need to focus on improving the offense/defense now.
Well, let's be honest, the scoring dried up when the power play left them two years ago. MSG is not an advantage because they practice at a facility in Westchester NY, get in a bus for an hour and then arrive two hours before game time. Morning skates are at 10am . Most guys go home in between. A lot take a nap or hang with the wife and kids.
Some live in the city, I met Hank in Central Park with his dog one morning of a game . Basically it's a normal day.
The road is the only place they can build chemistry. The Rangers goals is 2.38 per. If you want to win we are going to have to average 3 goals per for. Quick has a 1.35 against. That's why we suck . Because once again they can't SCORE!! So you are what your record is. Fuck the stats. 🏒
Playing so poorly at home may be an indication that the team is too uptight, pressing & overthinking it. In the D-zone the Ranger forwards are not pressing at the points & leaving the opposition to keep the puck in the zone. As for the PP, it is structured wrong. Take Panarin off the point & put Mika there, then put Laf in the slot netfront. Sullivan may be a great coach, but I think his personnel selection & lines are questionableat times. The changes he made recently are better re: Laba line & JT line I liked. Playing Parsinnen at center is delusional. Move Carrick up until Trochek comes back & let Brodzinski center the 4th. It's only a matter of time until Perreault comes up & that will definitely strengthen the third line if he plays with Trochek.
