This revamped D will have a stern test tonight. They did well against Hockey McJesus in Edmonton, let's see how the do against Carolina
I saw Chmelar play early last year. He's a giraffe who skates well & he scored a breakaway goal in that game. His weakness was a lack of physicality & passivity. As the year wen t on he really evolved, got more physical & showed significant progress. At this point I think he has surpassed Sykora on the prospect chart. The offense will improve if & when they bring up Perreault & either Othmann or Berard & delete Sheary & Parsinnen. I hope they do this by midseason or before so the rooks get NHL experience. This will really help by playoff time. As for the D, I still think they should target Byram in Buffalo.

Brodzinski should have a starting spot for us. We aren’t looking for a star player. Every time Brodzinski plays he puts 100% effort and shows how you should be playing for a spot in the lineup. Every time he gets his chance he is noticeable
