Wings had plenty of high danger chances even though they didnt seem to be doing too well in the neutral zone and on entries. They couldnt get the power play going, and at the end of the game they couldnt win a faceoff to save their lives. They obviously had a game plan and carried that plan out effectively. I think this one came down to puck luck. Vegas might have been the better team but not by a large margin. Overall they fought really hard and until the very end. thats all i can ask for playing against a stanley cup favorite.

6th game in a 6 game road trip . Vegas lost their last game . Not our best, but I’m not going to freak out. A lot of education for the kids.

I just worry about them being out of gas. If the system has the players going 150% eventually somethings going to burn out.
A 1-0 loss is rare these days. I think the boys needed a loss like this to learn from.
My prediction going into the trip was going 3-1-1 so I can't be too upset with 3-2. Also though ASP looked great this game finishing checks made mistakes and immediately got back to correct them

Appleton has been great so far, but he’s not a top 6 player. Kasper has been struggling to find his offensive game so far and Cat isn’t a creator. This team is missing Kane more than I thought they would. Either Kasper needs to turn it around, or they need someone who can carry the puck and create chances on that 2nd line.

I watched a lot of Berggren when he was getting all the prospects hype and i never bought it becasue he played a perimeter game which works in Europe. But i am glad to see he is working to adjust and getting into the battles there may be hope for him.
Why is Söderblom and Berggren always talked about getting moved around and they’re getting chances at the net and being productive but nobody is mentioning the $3mil+ players doing absolutely nothing (Rasmussen, Copp, Compher). I get that Söderblom and Berggren are getting praise as of late but honestly, I’d keep them and ditch the other three for picks and just bring up more GR prospects to see what I have at least, better than just wasting roster spots.

The finishing has been bad in quite a few games. Some it is really hard to understand because guys are just missing the net on golden opportunities close in. I think we already starting to see the little offensive generation from Copp, Compher, Rasmussen. It just puts so much pressure in the Wings top two lines if these guys can’t score.
