The NHL rulebook literally says if a player makes contact with the goaltender in his crease and a goal is scored, the goal shall be disallowed. That was one of the worst calls by the NHL and the refs I’ve ever seen. Still doesn’t excuse not closing out that game if you’re the Blues, but come on man
Elliotte, that wasn't the reason why the Avs didn't slow down against the Oilers. The reason why they went all in is because it was personal for them when Landeskog's goal was disallowed for the 2nd time this season. It had nothing to do with last year's playoffs
Interesting on Kampf, would like to hear more as soon as you can report. I find it fascinating that the player would potentially walk away from such large guarantees, anyway I had not thought about league enforced contract terms, lets see what they work out
The Oilers challenging Landy,s goal enraged the Avs to bring the hammer down. It wasn't Edmonton's fault but Colorado was livid and decided to prove that they'll get that goal back fivefold. At least that's the info coming out of their locker room.

It’s truly bizarre how no one will admit the problem in Edmonton is goaltending. Believe it or not, people have eyes.
Was at the VGK/Ducks game on Saturday night and was real impressed with the young and old Mighty Ducks!!! A nice blend of youth and vets and I think they will be a thorn in our sides for many years to come!
Carlsson is the real deal…Every bit a future elite player as Celebrini and Bedard! Those two do have some very good, young supporting players around them, but they don't have Gauthier! He is a legit beast as well and potential future elite player! The Ducks also have McTavish who is the perfect 2C…as well as Terry who is living up to his potential. Then there is Sennecke who is not missing a beat in his rookie year…That's just the forwards. The Ducks young D is coming along a bit more slowly but they are getting there!… that and they still have some very good prospects still cooking, waiting for their turn. Really liking the Ducks future!

Just rewatched the last few minutes of the AVs game – two of the teams most beloved bottom six grinders were on hatty watch. They were pushing to get their first career hattys. That’s why they didn’t let up.
I would love for skinner to get a fresh start. I actually believe in him and it’s rough seeing him get beat up over every little mistake. Time for a confidence reset somewhere a little friendlier
