Trouba just got the game winner last night, which helped the Ducks remain in first against the Golden Knights. Rangers got fleeced on basically every trade, other then the Kakko one. Even if I still don't love that trade. Also, 0-6-1 at home now and getting shutout five times in seven home games played. None of the Trades Drury made, have really paid off. Rangers fan's, this season is chalked so don't fool yourself and think, there is a chance they can make the playoffs. God, I need someone to post that clip of Jim Mora's playoff rant and loop it for every time someone mention's the Rangers and playoffs in the same sentence
Kreider , hated that trade, should
have moved off lafreniere instead.

I went to the Wolfpack game last night & wished I'd stayed home after the catastrophic ending when Belleville scored a shorthanded goal with 4 seconds remaining in the game. How? Scott Morrow breaks his stick(those modern sticks are dreadful BTW) & then fumbled the puck when he comes back from getting new stick which ends in the shorty. Morrow did not impress me at all, but Dorrington did. He handed out two thundering checks with no penalty, Perreault did not play again. What is going on there. The Pack dominated the first, but played the second about half the period shorthanded resulting in 18 shots against. Some of those calls were bogus to be sure as the Pack were very physical. Othmann got a roughing penalty & hardly touched the puck. He looked like he'd rather be somewhere else. Berard was terrific with his speed & set up Roobroeck for the only goal. The Pack like the Rangers shot the puck wide about 90% of the time. Both Belleville goals were from rebounds left lying out there. Morrow said he needs to improve his skating speed & he's got that right. Brisson(another Drury trade flop) was dreadful. Sykora played hard & with effort, but he has limited offensive ability. Then I come home & learn the Rangers were shut out again! DREADFUL!!!!!
In theory it could’ve been ok. Because the move was to make room cap space and roster wise.
Kreiders money was used on players like Will Borgen Parsinnen and Raddysh.
He was replaced with Connor sheary for the available spot.
Drury made a move for cap space and roster space and DID NOTHING with it. Worst GM in the league
I cheered when Kakko got his walking papers. I still cheer he got his walking papers. He was useless.
Its a given that hindsight is always 20 – 20.
I believe moving off the oft injured Chytl and Lindgren were wise. Kakko was no loss.
The way the GM pulled the rug out from under Trouba, Goodrow and Kreider was unsavory and counter productive. It destroyed morale along with the "leak" trade memo.
Trouba and Kreider are flourishing on the new team – yet, is that any guarantee that they'd have improved in NY?
Laffy has flamed out after getting the fat contract – a case can be made that Laffy instead of Kreider should have been exported.
Here is a unique idea for the New York Rangers. How about developing young players and avoiding those coaches who have won a Stanley Cup decades ago and hate young players.
Trading away Kreider will be turn out to be a massive mistake for the Rangers. He had been their impact goal scorer since day 1.
Plus Mike Sullivan is the 10th coach in the last 27 years to be hired & the Rangers ownership and management just treat coaching changes like they’re changing their underwear, they always scapegoat them. It can’t always be their fault because the Rangers have been buying or trading for the Cup in the last 27 years as well. Doesn’t work that way. Winning the Cup is EARNED. What is so hard for the Rangers ownership & management to understand about this?
