Portillo is already 25 years old. That is well into NHL.player age. I understand he had the injury, but there is no reason he shouldn't be looked to like a vet. I just think Carter George should be in the AHL. The man is a proven chad. The OHL can kick rocks. Get Gerorgy boy in the pros now!!!!!

Do away with the 5 forwards PP, will certainly help balance out the second unit.
So far, this team isn't any different than last year's team. It's preseason, but I see the same trends already.
At end of the day, it’s a pre season game , means nothing and team still 4-2 , if that means anything
Kempe and Kopi , already in playoff form.. I hope I’m wrong ,but I think this team misses the playoffs altogether..

SIGN KEMPE!!! We saw Forsberg as my memory remembers his effective level. He’s more consistent than Reddick, but that’s not saying much..
Hiller is ridiculous with his veteran bias. It's hard not to think of the moment in Game 3 seeing him lose his composure real time.
It really seems like a lot of good chances fizzle cause our guys can't seem to get any height on the shot. So many shots directly into the pads that could have easily been goals.
So Hiller spoke publicly and stated that he wasn't impressed with the team that ended up beating the Mammoth the other night because they were outplayed in the 2nd and 3rd period of that game.
So what does he think about this team that outplayed the Mammoth in the 2nd and 3rd periods of this game but only scored 1 goal AND LOST? Oh yeah, they get the benefit of the doubt that they outplayed the Mammoth and just got goalied is all. 🤦♂️
Tbh, the Mammoth played a very sound Kings like game themselves this contest and played very solidly forechecking and in the neutral zone and showed a template in how to beat the Kings at their own game.
Fans can say it was a meaningless preseason game but I don't think it really was other than hoping Kuemper doesn't give up a weak game deciding goal unlike what Forsberg did in this game.
Just hoping once this season is over, the Kings PP is better than last season's 17.9%.
