This Montreal Canadiens Team has what it takes to definetly make the Playoffs but will go through some growing pains so when they get it working properly, maybe still needing that 2nd line Center then just watch them kick some major ass. With average goalies who would be backups on other teams, with the injury list continuing to grow (year after year), and with our sheriff having lost his last two fights, I say it's going well for the Habs. Is it even worth fighting for the playoffs? Who are the prospects for the next draft? This team isn't ready yet.
Even crooked refereeing couldn't help Montreal win, and they really tried.

However, Boston had a lot of trouble beating the Montreal Canadiens; the game could have gone either way. Even though I'm a proud Habs fan, I still congratulate the Bruins on their victory.

Montembeau is not a top goaltender. Overhyped as a French Canadian on the Montreal roster. Happens often.
Special units and OT let Montreal run up a winning record, and now special units is also a big reason why they're losing. Our PK has struggled without a left-handed center who can win faceoffs. Dvo, Armia were PK specialists and we didn't adequately replace them.
