  1. Talbot not going anywhere, he's to good for what he costs and more dependable in net than anyone else available, btw If I buy you a Seider redwings jersey and send it will you put in in your background ? (not joking) so there is atleast something better to look at than an oilers jersey .. Habs ok with me

  2. Why is this even being discussed 3 1/2 months ahead of the trade deadline. So David Pagnotta speculated that the Wings "could" trade Talbot if they are far enough out of playoff contention by then and also speculated who "should" be interested. Given the Wings the past 2 seasons have been within playoff contention by the trade deadline and are currently trending towards being in that position again, this scenario has very little chance of becoming a reality.

Him being "connected" is really a stretch here and not even how Pagnotta stated it.

  3. Now that we've nipped the elephant in the room, at the end, and only at the end of a terrible season would Talbot be going anywhere. He's actually been fantastic and the reason why the Wings have won many of those games this year. His, and Gibson's numbers look rough because of the team in front of them and a nearly complete inability to move traffic out of the way.

Gibson was supposed to be some sort of miracle but when faced with the same dilemma has indeed faired worse. The problem is more than just the D as forwards quite often fail to come back and assist.

    So…….BTFU on dogging Talbot.

  4. Goalie stuff i think Detroit needs to consider soon is who are they going in on for the future. Cossa or Augistine. Now that they have Gibson, they dont need to rush Cossa up to Detroit and can wait for Augy. My idea would be trade Cossa to say Carolina as part of a package so Carolina has a new AB goalie tandem with Kotchetkov next season. Gibson with Postava as backup for next few years while Augy is starter for Grand Rapids and Gylander as backup. Detroit can get a solid player and a pick from Carolina.

  5. Habs Talbot😅 Habs need to Get rid of a Goalie and make a call up before end of the season

  6. None of these teams mentioned would give you much of anything for Talbot. May be a draft pick 2 3 years from now it would be wiser to trade to a team that would give you something valuable considering how desperate teams need goalies. Calgary would be the team that I'd want to trade with. Vancouver.

  7. The S% is really misleading this year. For the most part, the defense has limited opposition shots quite well this season. Last season it felt the average opponent shot count was at least 25 and in a lot of instances 30+. This year at least from what I can remember we're averaging 20-25 shots against. So any goals let in take up a greater percentage. That said the 7-2, and 5-2 games dont help. In those games there are a lot of break aways and odd man rushes against the wings. Cut down on those types of chances and the save percentages will go up as the standard 5-5 is doing fairly well.

  8. Detroit is not going to trade any goalie right now because the season just started and they could be making the playoffs if everything goes well and they need 2 goalies not one because Cossa and Postava are the goalies for GR this season they are not coming to play in Detroit unless one of our goalies get hurt.

  9. Can we please get Connor Clattenburg? He's the enforcer we need to be taken seriously. He was also the captain for the Flint Firebirds. Bring Cossa up after Christmas, carry 3 goalies until the deadline and trade Talbs for Clattenburg and a pick.

  10. Pickard had 7 playoff wins last year alone, the Red Wings haven’t had 7 playoff wins the last 13 years.

  11. They can trade both Gibson and Talbot. Gibson can't get his clove over his waist. He goes down, puck goes up, and it's a goal. When they get healthy, bring up Cossa and Postava. Unload a few forward and D-Men and bring up Lombardi, Leonard, Shine, Watson (for muscle), and on the D-Line, Buium (when healthy) and Wallinder. Get rid of Raz, Copp, and Compher, along with Chiarot and Hamonic.
