Goalie nodded though, probably asked him if he was fine. I'm a goalie and I can tell you we do not care nearly as much about this stuff as the rest of you. The fights are very entertaining though.
99% of contact with the other goalie calls for a fight, so I understand the instant aggression
I often wonder if the commentators see the same thing we see on tv because based on body language and the way the Bruin's player's mouth moves he says "something something okay" and I would guess it's something like "are you okay?" and then the goalie nods. No aggressive body language. This was a clear "you may pet the goalie, he is friendly" moment.

Pretty sure he was apologizing. His glove touched goalies mask due to being pushed from behind.

On my team, we ALWAYS pet our goalie when we get a chance to. Not the other teams lol, but our goalie has literally been renamed to âthe pet goalieâ
