The Sabres' situation makes me feel better about supporting the Jaguars in the NFL — at least they've had some good seasons to break up the misery. (And started well this year.)
Also, it's crazy that the same guy whose ownership has run this franchise into the ground is the same one who's overseen the Bills becoming a consistent contender after their own elongated playoff drought. Maybe football's just a higher priority for Pegula?

I don't expect them to make the playoffs but they didn't look terrible against Ottowa. That said… as a Hurricanes fan I can't help notice that do sort of coast around. The lack of intensity is evident
As bad as sabers are, the ownership is not even in the same universe as bad as the MLB, Oakland > Sacramento > Las Vegas A's owner John Fisher. Fisher is worst owner in North America sports and it not even close.

The fact that they have expensive concessions is the most laughable part. Yes, it is a huge slap in the face to your fans. Sure. Stanley Cup Finals should be expensive. Discount teams should have a dollar menu. I don't mean that metaphorically.

Buffalo needs to get rid of the management and coaching staff and if they still are bad they need to change the line up after that if they still do bad they just need management coaching and player's that want to be there

A tear down from top to bottom is something I agree with there is just no sense of urgency to make the Sabres into a better team and when they get potential stars they get traded away. Then fans have to watch them go on amazing playoff runs on another team or even get cups there. This owner has some serious shades of Harold Ballard and that is not a good thing.
