Given that Foote is the coach and that the D core is supposed to be a strength, I'm surprised they're not better defensively or on the PK. I'm not surprised by the overall record, but I'm surprised with how they're getting there. They seem to be able to score, but the defence isn't good enough and Foote was arguably the best defensive defenseman of his era. I was more expecting a mid 90s Devils style of hockey, which I was fine with. I don't need to be entertained. You know what's entertaining? Winning.
