We are barely a wildcard team if healthy…so with all these injuries im not going to worry about these losses. We are missing are starting goalie,our best defenseman, 2 thirds of our first line, 3rd line centre and a top four dman…kinda hard to win with all of that. Our bottom pair is literally mermis and stetcher like c'mon that is a joke

We know the long time players on this team are better than this. Adding a bunch of average players should not make this team this bad. I don't dislike our coaching staff, but Pete DeBoer is a better coach. Let's get the best coach available right now, and see what he can do with this group.
But, knowing how this organization works, they'll wait to get the injured players back, then they'll continue to play like crap for a while. then they'll trade one person getting back someone that is supposed to change everything. Nothing changes, then they finish the season out of the playoffs. By then no good coaches will be available. We'll ride the current coaching staff though next year. Rinse and repeat.

Real talk, what is going on with injuries in the Atlantic this season? Like, I understand Florida with all the hockey they've played, but Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Tampa, Ottawa are seeing lots of injuries and they are to their stars too. McAvoy, Matthews, both Tkachuks, Hedman, McDonagh and now Point and Kucherov.
Obviously you expect to see a dip in wins, but Leafs need to find a way to do better than 1 win in their last eight.

Steve, I’ll say this every time: the only way Toronto will find the WILL to win is when fans stop feeding the machine. Stop going to games, stop buying merch, stop watching.
