This team is falling faster than a fat chic on the ice.. they r lazy . Dubis needs to bring up other guys get rid of Hayes, heinen, koppanen
I said at the beginning of the season that novak and tomasino are as soft as tissue paper. Broz is a winner.
I dont mind losing by one, or one and an empty netter. But being blown out and shut out is a twist of the dagger. No matter what they say, the entire team cannot accept this kind of loss. This team has had this problem of accepting these losses since the last time they won the cup way back when.
Hey DK, I also feel Danton Heinen is the same as Novak. All over the place and at the end of the day nothing to show for it!

Less Heinen and Novak types, more McGroarty and Broz types

Hey DK, I watched your post game and now this morning's Daily Shot. While I agree there is some passengers like Novak, especially Heinen and among others. I definitely think they rushed Hayes back too soon, and after what he gave last year I was glad to see him return but he's hard to watch right now. But here's where I disagree and I apologize about harping on this, but over the last five games line one has been underperforming. Before the last game Sid had 2 points, Rust had 1 in their last five. Blaming this on Dewar is not right, there's two guys that on there who are to lead the charge, to spark the team and set the tone. I hate saying this out loud, but whats wrong with Sid, he looks frustrated and sloppy, but too be fair, should still get 2 assists a night if someone could finish. But lets look at Rust. Last six game has 1 point, that point being six games ago, yikes. No one likes to mention Bryan Rust is part of the problem, including you DK. On a nightly basis he is outclassed by line oners across the league, why, because he isn't one. He'd be a perfect guy on the 3rd or fourth line, there's no taking away his attributes but he doesn't drive the play. His possession is not good, he can't skate into the offensive zone without dumping the puck, his passing, skating, and playmaking is suspect, he's not physical and gets pushed easily off the puck, and for most the game is static with one hand on the stick watching the puck go in the net. The last thing I will say to you about Rust DK………does he make Sid better, does he take pressure off Sid? Let's stop giving the old boys club a pass, I am still getting over the last two years of Jeff Carter's career! If winning is important it is time for Dubas to shake things up, maybe spend some of that money, make a trade or two. But we all know he's not going to, and will say we'll see at X-mas, we'll see after the Olympics, and by than it'll be like the last three years of watching Sid trying to drag the team into the playoffs and come up short. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Right now I'm I wouldn't know if I was watching a game from 2025, 2024, or 2023. Same issues……..same nucleus!
I can see the Penguins missing the playoffs by a few points.
Different coach. Different goalies. Same aging nucleus. Same surrounding talent. Same results as last year. It's not the goalie. It's not the coaching. It's the centers, wingers and defensemen. The shooting percentage bubble popped. The PP% bubble will eventually pop (went 1 for 6 over the weekend). Those 10 regulation wins don't look so hot anymore now do they? The Pens would not make the playoffs if the season ended today. Let that sink in.
But go ahead and chant "Fire Muse!" and "Jarry sucks!" .. keep chanting the same old crap expecting different results. The blame for this mess belongs to the management that gave away draft picks and did poorly in the draft with the picks they had … While teams like the Capitals were able to find gems to rebuild with on the fly. They didn't have to tear it all down to rebuild. But we probably will have to do that and will end up like Detroit. Mismanagement at its finest.

Slowly but surely learning that it was never the coach nor was it just the goaltender. This team has a lot of bad/fringe players, as they have been constructed now for the past 3-4 years. A really poorly constructed blueline … as has been the case ever since Hextall traded Marino and Matheson … and too many fringe NHL'ers collecting a paycheck among the forward group. But to be fair … this is the product of Dubas taking on other teams' expendables (Hayes, Novak, Tomasino) to accumulate future assets, which is a great strategy for the future … but you are still stuck with the expendables on your roster in the present.
It will get worse if they play jarry a lot , guy sucks & will fail again as it goes on , how many years u want to see it
