Honestly, its just disappointing. Its bizarre that a team can play well on the road, yet struggle this bad at home. The thing that bothers me the most about this loss is the fact that you star defenseman gets injured by the same player who posted 2 goals and yet the Rangers don't even bother to engage with Hagel. I'm not saying you have to fight him, but for God's sake show some effing care. The Ranger players just accepted it, no care, no response… nothing. At the very least get in Hagels face and give him a shove, nope not one Ranger did anything… Pathetic.
Someone tell Dave Starman that Tampa also played yesterday, and played three games in four nights the same as the Rangers. Stop with the excuses.
Something is seriously wrong with this team conditioning. They are not the oldest team in the league, but they sure play like it. What's troubling is that even younger players like Lafreniere, Cuylle seem to be slower than they used to be. I'd also say Laba is getting progressively slower this season.
I'd like to see what HC has to say about it.
