Laba has been a good addition this year. Robertson is doing well.
Edstrom and Rempe are young towers that will lead to a great 4th line for years.
Chmelar and Mackay can add the grit we need when facing thug teams like Florida.
We don't know how good Garand and Dorrington will be…my guess is very good.
Cuylle will be top 6 for years.
Bless Gavrikov for wanting to play for the Rangers! He's just such a good D-man on both sides of the puck. Loved seeing Berard out there with his speed and feistiness. Ya, that double minor was unfortunate, but he has to be more like Marchand & take no shit. He was actually trying to avoid a hit there. Rather have Brodzinski in there than Parsinnen or Sheary, both of whom need to be dispatched to Hartford stat. Laf needs to play LW not RW because you can see he's more comfortable there. It's where he played in Junior where he excelled. I get Sullivan's reasoning about going left shooter on RW, and I agree with that, but in this case I go with comfort & prior experience. I don't think it matters if Schneider is a second or third. I like how Robertson plays the boards & harasses opponents in front of the net. Some D take a longer time to develop & he's only going to get better with NHL minutes. I like him with Schneider actually & Rangers need to go get Byram to play with Borgen. Trade Seuss for either a prospect of draft choice.
Cuylle plays better with faster, more aggressive Centers, as does Laffy. Both played better with Laba. They pushed the pace, forechecked, created opportunities. Then Sully broke up that line and put Cuylle with the two old loads Mika and JT, and put Laffy with Panarin, who is not really playing with any fire this year. Trocheck was out for awhile, but even he doesn't push the pace like Laffy seems to need.

If there’s a team in all of sports that has the most unknown identity and not being able to have a full staring lineup that is secure that would be the rangers 😂Our last 5 years we haven’t had a secure full lineup and always have traded or had decent players that we just don’t need and throw in and out of games every couple weeks. Why can’t drury drop his balls pick the full starting lineup and keep it that way for an entire year so we can decide who to trade and who not to. We have no answers ever as if our prospects are good or not and always have 2-3 players we don’t need signed that we sign just because drury loves to always have to many extra players to swap in and out and can’t make up his mind. Fire drury and anyone who has been in his ear 😂😂🙏🏻
