   One thing that's really bothering me about this team is the medical staff. How the fuck do they keep letting players come back into a game when they're noticeably hurt. They've done it with Jack Hughes with his shoulder in st Louis 2 yeara ago and his knee vs the Isles a few years back. Pretty sure they did something similar with Nico. And tonight. Especially tonight with Dillon. I get hes a warrior and wants to play, but the staff, gm, or whoever needs to step in and protect these guys from themselves. And then they say something like "we kept Dillon out of the game in the 3rd for precautionary reasons"…. where the fuck was the precaution when he came back and played some shifts in the 2nd?

   I hate losing to the Flyers – I feel like for some reason we don't match up well against them 🤷‍♀ Dillon is an old-school warrior full stop. Anyone who says otherwise is a punk in my opinion. Dallas next – I reckon the boys step up – regulation Devils win. LGD 😈 🏒

   Sucks to drop this one. It almost seems like everytime the devils try to be physical it takes them out of their own game and they end up losing. As for Luke I believe in his future but come on. We have to live with his mistakes but man at least make up for it at the other end of the ice! Also he has to learn how to play physical, it seems that's everytime he gets smoked it's because he always goes for the poke check and opponents know that by now. If he would just hit the guy it would maybe take away half of the highlight reels against him. And to the people who want Stamkos.. are you stupid? He doesn't produce at 5/5 and is a full PP merchant. Not what this team needs. I would take Marchessault over Stamkos any day

   I agree with everything you say about Luke Hughes but I’m not happy about his compete level. Last 2 games the puck was stolen right off his stick for a goal and a point blank shot. He needs better compete, has nothing to do with age.

    If you were to look up disappointment in the dictionary, it should reference this game. Injuries again, refs were not doing any favors (Nico had issues with that on faceoffs), and Allen was off. Clearly edgier and more violent, but far from heavy. Just seemed like another instance where opponents have learned to push around this group and win from it. Schedule and will be relentless and standings are unforgiving, so expect no sympathy there. Must weather the storm, i guess.

    Jack put the opponents on their heels. He made them play scared. Now, they aren't worried about any of these forwards beating them with the puck on their stick. The Devil's are going to have to tread water until he's back.

    Young defenseman making mistakes – no problem , playing without heart – very concerning . Most fans took it as a fact that Luke will grow into NHL star because of his last name . What if he doesn’t ? I expected a bridge contract . Luke is not Shaefer or Makar , he showed nothing to justify 9 mil a year .

    Devils fans are such whiners. See what neutrals fans had to say about yesterday game and you will see that the Devils had brought it on themselves and have only themselves to blame. I like Dillon a lot but he initiated the fight and got what he deserved. Siegenthaler initiated the fight and got what he deserved. Now, Dano whinging about not tied down strap is ridiculous. A rule is a rule. La Greca is an idiot constantly mistaking Columbus players with the Devils ones. But we all know about that already very well. Noesen -Voronkov fight where the latter allowed the former to get back on his feet twice to only get punched by Noesen when Voronkov was on the floor. Wow, such class by Noesen. The Devils deserved all of what they got last night. Lucky Olivier was not playing. This organisation is a mess. Oh, and goalie interference was a correct call…

    Ace, my sincere compliments to you and your patience with some of the comments last night. Sure it adds hot sauce to the main course but there's constructive bitching/negativity (80% of folks on here) and then there's complete nonsense. 4 defensemen last night and two youngsters logging serious minutes. Luke sucked last night, Nemo sucked last night. Yeah, they've had better games but while its frustrating they will get much better particularly when the QB of the defense (Pesce) returns. The team tried like hell to change their identity last night (fighting) and it didn't work. What did work and was very smart was Timo going into beast mode but smart enough to draw a penalty and not take one. Until they add some more beef to the team I think we will see a lot less fisticuffs unless absolutely necessary. I went numb when Dilly went down. I was concerned it was his neck again.

    This was rough. Refs really screwed us😊
