Avs fan… Nelson WWI Veteran… That was awesome. The Canadiens' fans are lucky to have this kind of fan based production. If the Avs stay healthy, I don't think anyone can pull off 4 games out of 7 against this group… Montreal was not playing their best after the 1st 7 minutes. If they coulda gotten some puck luck early while they were flying in the first 7 minutes… TOTALLY DIFFERENT OUTCOME. Montreal is a better team than we saw. The officiating leaned towards the AVS a bit too. You all have a great team legacy, fantastic fan base, and you're not Toronto. Good luck gents, your future is solid for sure.

Team really misses their best Dman in Guhle and Newhook's speed is also missed. Also miss Dach he was starting to break out looking like the first year we got him.
With Guhle we likely have another 2 to 4 wins instead of losses. Goaltending has been horrible looks like we will need either Fowler or Volokhin to hit and Miller is showing signs as well. Dobes is still young but not sure he will be able to handle the pressure of Montreal might be fine as a backup but not looking like a starter.
I'm glad the team did not go out and over pay for a 2nd line center you have to fix the goaltending and defense first. Poor Arber he has out played both Carierre and Struble lately but MSL seems to be blind. I don't like MSL he seems lost sure he has helped some of our young players to increase their offensive skills but his team man on man structure is dumb. The man on man coverage is dumb to play against a team like Colorado that has more talent you can see a game like this happening because lack of skill and experience. MSL can stay but we need a defensive coach that can instill a better game plan. This team if they played man coverage against the 80s oilers would of given up 15 goals try covering Gretzky, Coffey, etc. in man coverage would of been a disaster.

I'm an Avs fan and I love what they're doing in Montreal. The future of the league will be in those cities where these kids are accumulating. San Jose, Chicago, Montreal – fun watching the youth movements there.
