My Question is Barlow ford and lambert are keys guys to bring them into the big company the jets do this with their talent look a niku look at Petan and D man
I don’t pay a lot of attention to the Moose and even less to the rest of the prospects. These updates are great for a quick snapshot in time of the Jets future. Much appreciated.
When judging Alfons Freij's season, you have to consider he was a moderate point producer in Swe-1 last year and now has managed to stick with an SHL club and play regularly. The SHL is a huge step up in competition and likely the 3rd best pro league in the world after the KHL. Not many Jet prospects having career years, but the updates are nice.
Ford?
I've said it in multiple places, but in the pursuit of getting heavier for a playoff push, they seriously sacrificed speed, and in todays NHL, speed kills. Two of either, Lambert, Chibrikov, Ford and (newly added for me) Zhilkin should be called up and slotted in. They'll add speed and energy to a Jets squad that is currently lacking in both.
For a draft and develop team, the cupboard is awfully bare for a team that cant win rounds or cups. Mucky middle jets, slow and small
Lambert – lots of hype, has been disappointing. He had some bad turnovers in the AHL since being sent down. I’d rather see other players like Duehr get a shot
