A few prime opportunities wasted with crappy shots.
Dump and chase is a poor alternative to well executed controlled entries.
MacDermid is not a good choice with a depleted lineup.
Pillzy, slap yourself in the face, look at the standings, this is most definitively a must win game!
We’re still where we’ve been as a team for a couple of years. A game where they look like champions followed by a game where they look like they’ll be forfeiting a 1st overall pick. The inconsistency drives me utterly insane.
I have to give my honest opinion: I don’t believe we’re a better team than last year. Or at least, a more consistent team than last year.
As a sports fan last night I got a beautiful double box viewing of the Sens losing Pinto in a loss while also seeing the Cowboys getting all but eliminated from playoff contention. Many brews were consumed in the process. 😂

If they call up Kaliyev, it should be to keep him up or they will lose him on waivers. I do not understand everyone calling him a one trick pony when he can clearly score which is valuable – certainly more valuable than fighting – so MacD is a one trick pony as well… but does fighting win games? No. Kaliyev is better than Gaudette, who was in the lineup all year last year. Put him on the fourth line and sit MacD in the press box. Kaliyev has already shown he can produce in the NHL, and there is no way he is a bigger liability than MacD, who cannot skate, while Kaliyev gives you the scoring this team actually needs instead of just a guy who fights and nothing else.
I'm going with stats and putting in McDermid because the Sens need to end this losing play and get points again. If I was to go with a call up instead I'd go with Hodgson. I like his game for a 4th liner.

I'd go Hodgson over Macdermid. He adds more, but is more vulnerable to waivers I guess.
Kaliyev's 50 goal season starts now
Why would they call up Kaliyev to play on the 4th line instead of Hodgson or Lyksell to play on the 4th line? Look at the spot the player is going to come up to fill, and the way that Green is going to use him based on Green's history.
a healthy Sens team is still not a top tier team, so with being riddled with injuries…I think they’ll be in the basement within a week as other teams (ie.:Leafs) are getting healthier now
