I record the games now, and fast forward through them. What a Goddamn joke….even WITH injuries, they should still be AT LEAST competitive. I’m actually tired of the non-stop excuses. Of the team had players who stepped up, the injuries wouldn’t hurt NEARLY as much. TF HAS TO GO. Let me address something else here: Markstrom, has saved ABOVE .900, HOW MANY TIMES? As our “elite” goaltender, how about STEALING one for the team? MORON, TF, quit on Schmid, WAY too early. He RUSHED the Markstrom Contract, with ZERO pressure to do so. Until HE gets shown the door, this team will go NOWHERE. I’m FUGGIN furious right now.

Maxime Comtois (former 2nd round pick of the Ducks)
He has size and upside. He scored 16 goals in 55 games for Anaheim in 2020. He also is heading into what some consider to be a player's prime.

What does this team look like with Blackwood Wedgewood tandem? My hunch is a few years from now, it might be wondering about Dawes Schmid.

There’s really nothing to left to say. Team has zero identity, players are too soft physically and more concerning emotionally, and the coach matches that. They played some clips of Pat Burns behind the bench, he was just a force and even tho it was 20 years ago I still could feel the energy.
Watched the Rags/Sens rewind. Even in loss both teams have crisper passing, better positioning and more tempo. We are definitely not a good hockey team. And when Jack and Pesce come back and we make a little surge it will only be temporary. Need to clean it out!

We are officially out of a playoff spot. If the BJs and the Rags win today, we will officially be in last place. I am so happy I decided to go Christmas shopping last night instead of going to the game. Got a lot done. I heard the crowd booed the Devils off the ice. Not even gonna bother watching the game tonight. I got more important things to do….here's an idea for a practice…Get Stevens, Neids, Danno, Elias, Broduer, Driver, and a few other former Devils play a skirmish against the CURRENT Devils. I guarantee the old Devils could still beat the current Devils….maybe this will humble the current roster, and maybe they will learn a few valuable lessons.
I fully expect Fitz to either do nothing or make a panic move, like moving Nemec for a washed "win now" up player like we thought we were getting in Marky and Palat.
I feel the devils couch is just throwing guys on lines with no clear reason. Schmid played well for the devs. Shame he went bye bye. There more dead than a walking dead zombie. Not sure when jack comes back will make any difference. Hoping they beat Boston tonight.
Hard to be positive currently about this team. Doubt Fitz will do anything at all to fix the train wreck. Last two games were painful to watch. Wins cure all, they got to get one tonight. Lets Go Devils!
Ace, Fitz should be on the phone right now and making calls to other teams. He needs to make a move asap!! If ownership and Fitz sit on their hands, that is basically giving the middle finger to the fans. The fan base deserves better.
Crowd last night was dead. The worst home crowd I witnessed in my 50 year old fandom. The teams lifeless play has permeated into the crowd. Just an overall sorry evening.
Fitz has had ample time to improve the team and hasn’t. Other than being gifted high first round picks they haven’t been good enough at drafting. He wasn’t able to strengthen the center position that the team desperately needed as well as mismanaging the cap. And I agree that this core has showed that they’re not clutch and not good enough.
Panic button is pressed. 4-7 without Jack, 4 game HOME losing streak, back to back held scoreless at HOME!!! Unbelievable. Go get a top 6 forward! Go get Quinn. Honestly every player on this team is expendable with the exception of Jack! We still have Nico, Timo, Bratt, our defense is at full strength to what it was start of the season with the exception of Pesce and THIS is our product?! We need to revaluate this roster and make changes.

How many times have I told you the Devils is one-man team who cant stay healthy which undermines the Devils and that Jack should have been traded after that disastrous 23/24 season when he still had value? Now Jack is worthless on the market. Maybe someone would be willing to give up the 1st. But that's a big maybe. Now every year the Devils will be going into a new season scared and wishing he stays healthy)))) He wont. Devils are such a joke of an organization. Devils are not making the playoffs.
