In hindsight, I am happy they kept their No 1 pick. Cootes I think one day will be their future captain and very good. Even with Rossi, Canucks still would have been bad. Foote was wrong choice for coach and probably will be fired in January or at the latest after season is over.

Glad management didn't think short term and agree to this trade. Looks better with this disaster season.
Shows that this management is already "rebuilding" by not trading that #15/Cootes and Raty. All our long term support contracts Garland Boeser DeBrusk are all small cap hits, our only issue is whether Hughes will stay or not.
