You are NOT getting Svechnikov "thrown in there"- lol! The hype around Nikishin is unreal right now and even though Stankyleg is struggling with the size and speed of the NHL game as well as converting to center- Carolina has some of the best scouts in the league- they KNOW the gem they have there. If you want to include the goalies feel free (I dont think thats a rrequirement…)- but AS comes all the way out and you swap in a 12st instead or something…
As a canucks fan, I wouldn't be too opposed to that deal with Carolina. It will never happen. But that would be good for everyone involved except maybe svechnikov

Pettersson isn’t going anywhere, he’s the ‘Dad’ to all 9 or so young Swedes in the system as they look up to him. Also, he has a full no movement clause and wants to be in Vancouver, hence the extension
