Of all the teams lookin to rebuild, the Canucks without a doubt had the best bargaining chip to assist a rebuild. No other rebuilding team had a player that could fetch 4 quality assets. That's where Canucks fans should be happy.
Part of me is happy the Canucks are finally embracing a rebuild, but now I feel bad my grandpa probably ain't seeing the team lift the cup in his lifetime. Sucks to suck 🤷🏻♂️
They need to go huge this summer at the draft. They need to go get another first and a few more seconds. And suddenly we're getting somewhere pretty quickly actually. I won't lie I was very happy to not watch Hughes skate around for 60 minutes with the puck on his stick. As far as trades go, I think both teams hot what they needed.
