Holy refresh pull
DAMN I'm 1 minute late
C is for Celebrini, it's good enough for me…!
Muy [ Luongo! ]
Sigh. The reason that Florida has won Cups is because they have three #1 equivalent d man. Not a bunch of #2 and 3s.
Cagnoni will run the power play in our future
The difference between klingberg and leddy is 1 klingberg wants to be her he signed a contact with the sharks. Leddy wasn’t able to get traded to San Jose because they were on his no trade clause and so the work around was through waivers. Leddy doesn’t want to be here and it shows on the ice sometimes. Also I think Sheng mentioned before leddy biggest asset in his game is speed. Although klingberg has proven that given time he will rebound I think leddy is a bit different since speed isn’t a part of the game you just forget how to do. Sure maybe if u have a nagging injury a game or two a little slower but it’s not something a player needs 20+ games to figure out speed is just something relative to the body’s health and produce and leddy may have regressed in that sense.
I’m for patience. You never know when a askarov type deal pops up for a defenseman. Ala the Boyle trade.
I’m also against the idea of the draft no longer should be main area of talent acquisition. Due to team winning now and looking to get someone there asap. I point to Toronto who’s getting tapped out on assets to move. Look how knives has come in and give them such a boost. Edmonton same position. There tapped out due to constant draft pick trading for temp adjustments. We still need to build the foundation. But also, the replacements over the years can be a night and day difference. Best chance to get better than you give. As pointed out. A second round pick could be your top D of the future. Or last pick in the draft can turn into a solid top 4. You never know. Drafting imo should always be a high priority.
Not saying I’m not for some future for now trades. But for those, I hope they’re very limited. I hope we keep the plan griers been playing from.
For me, I imagine a heavy D draft this year opposite to the forward heavy drafts we’ve had. Fill temporarily with placeholders you may be able to flip like granlund and wennburg.
Randy and Drew Barr none the best and the classiest announcers in the NHL! Thank you Randy!
Sure you don't need a 1D, but if they're right around the corner why not wait a little longer? The way I see it, you can go all in on 'the best available players' to try and get back to playoffs asap, then hope the contracts work out when it's time to sign our young forwards to extensions. Or you wait at least until after this draft to try and accumulate great RHD and develop our young D and F cores together as the true future of the team. Even if the latter doesn't work out you'll have more assets to trade to patch any holes. If the former doesn't work out, those older guys are going to want clauses, and Grier's hands are going to be tied quickly. People say a 'losing culture' is how you become Buffalo, I disagree. I think signing a bunch of bad contracts you can't get out of and organizational instability is what creates a losing culture. Sharks are neither of both.
What players on likely barracuda but also sharks roster can you see being apart of a scenery change trade. One of the underperforming players for underperforming player trades?
Of all the elder sharks. Only one id look to resign short term is Wennburg. But if no contact can be reached. Trade. He’s having basically a career type year as far as highlights and game changing effect I’d guess. Have to take advantage of the value while it’s there at this point in our timeline. Same with Ned and if continues klingburg. There’s just to much future value to just let die at end of the year.
Now I feel like shit for giving Klingy a hard time! Sout out to John I’ll give you another shot sorry bud I didn’t know! Plz forgive me?
Catolina won their cup with solid defensmen. Ask Brett Hedican.
Just get a defenseman in free agency so you don't give away too much talent.
Sheng Bite your tongue!! The last thing this Team needs right now is another round with EK65 bite your tongue! NO! NO NO EK65 NO
ANYBODY that writes “Boyle sucks” MUST mean it like Primus fans writing “Primus sucks”… and mean it completely sarcastically… and if you don’t, you are certainly a dim bulb… because Boyle is GREAT!
Randy is the human embodiment of a true life long Sharks fan. Emotion is the name of the game, and Randy is the best.
Fox forced his way to New York when he got the nhl I think that a true inner blow up in New York would be needed for fox to even consider moving
One more comment: Randy Hahn is soooooo awesome. As a long-time die-hard Sharks’ fan, I KNOW how lucky we are to have Randy, Drew, and Dan announcing our games. Thanks for this fantastic interview!!!
