  1. Guys hold on the wild are super good but Jesus the wild need some serious bottom 6 center depth or any depth to compete with the stars and avs! They made a fantastic pick up but the trade deadline is going to be crucial!

  2. Ryan Hartman shows up for the playoffs! I wouldn't be so quick to move him. A hot goaltender will take a team deeper in the playoffs than a mid-level scorer. A goalie trade will not bring a hot scorer. If Wild lose in the conference finals, the season is a failure. Wild make it past the Avs and Stars and lose in the finals? It's a failure.

  3. Yeah, The Hockey Guy rant was one of my favorite episodes of his. Don't think I've ever seen him that pissed! He has calmed down since then.

  4. Ive been bashing Billy the last 2 years for not swinging…WELL…he just took the BIGGEST swing in franchise history…SORRY BILLY…
I've bought my tickets on the bandwagon..Go getting a 26 year old Norris trophy winner will do
that…buckle up…this is going to be fun.

  5. Weirdly the piece I think that was an overpayment was Ohgren. Rossi – a good 1/2C – and Buium, plus a first round pick are baseline. I could see adding another prospect. Ohgren was all zeros but most agree that he was finally putting in together. Also, our 3rd line is our weak link right now and that’s where he’s going to have a good career.

That said- we can still put together an offer for a strong 3rd line forward that can add 15 goals a year.

  6. Hughes can eat big minutes which should help keep Brodin’s minutes down a bit which should help him not reagrivate his injury. Plus Spurgeon Brodin is a lockdown pairing.

  7. Jessi is ruining the failed OF models life with her “do you know who wears X number” questions

  8. Colorado and Dallas are still better though. So why would it be a failure if they beat you? This line of rationale is absurd. It’s probable the Wild will lose in the first round. It’s not a failure if you lose to a better team.
