It may be a coïncidence but MSG did not have the game last night. So, their dud went unnoticed after the game. Could not find Sullivan post game.
They were outplayed by a team that got torched the past 2 games. And next they will face Montreal that has a goaltender crisis and will maybe put a motivated rookie between the pipes saturday. Not to mention that the Rangers can't win at MSG.

Great observation…not the first time they have been outskated. At times they look confused over structure and positioning.
If you have been picked first overall (as a forward) and you are not on the first power play unit 6 years into your NHL career that says a lot.
The thing is no first rounder picked by the Rangers the last 8 years has proven that he is a game changer, let alone a franchise player. I'm talking about forwards.
You have to go back to J.T. Miller in 2011 to find a player of that caliber and, sadly, he had his best years so far wearing another jersey.

Rangers consistently look like they’re giving 60% effort while other teams are firing on all cylinders every shift. We are slow and lazy. It’s also been an issue since last season with them coming out flat wayyyyy too often
On that shortie, two centermen, Zibanejad and Trochek, were standing flat footed at their own blue line as Crevier received the pass on the other side of the ice. Like, what the hell were they thinking?
Honest question, how do you point out all the players you think have speed but not mention Noah Laba once when he is by far the fastest skater on the team?!?! That is a major miss on your judgement my guy.

I'm out on Sullivan. I don't care that he won two Cups 10 years ago with Crosby, Malkin and Letang. In the last few years his teams have been awful, barely reaching the league average in goals for. The Rangers had been above average until he arrived. His system is predictable, has almost no puck movement and the league knows it. He insists on playing underperforming veterans, and there are never consequences for poor play. I'm done with that failure Quinn too.

So. Did you see the games against the Stars, Avalanche, and Vegas? I don't agree with you on this. They didn't play horrible last night. Could have easily gone another way. They had 21 shots on goal, hit several post, and simply didn't have any puck luck at all. Now, I do think the Blackhawks out played them, but it wasn't all bad on the Rangers part. Noah Laba is clearly the fastest skater on the team as well, my friend.

Were you watching JT Miller closely? He looked completely awful. Constant puck fumbling, bad passing, lethargic skating. His head was down way too much while skating too, not looking around for people to pass too or shot chances, it was odd. I dont know what was with him. But it was the worst playing ive seen of anyone all year. If his azz doesnt get chewed out, then this team is never going to care enough to do anything this year.
They skate as though they have ankle weights attached to their ankles and they fall on the ice too often.

Stanley Cup teams don’t have top lines whose players score their FIRST in December! The age, the speed (lack of), the inconsistencies and the overall inability to score… this team is just NOT built for it! Could we make the playoffs? Yeah.. maybe scrape in, but then what does it matter when we get ousted by Tampa and r Carolina within the first round?! Now we’re back to square one where we HAVE been for years now.

Do you know that the Blackhawks chose to have the Rangers dress in their home uniforms? Obviously the strategy worked because the Rangers thought they were home and as usual played a miserable rotten lousy uninspired 60 Minutes of hockey. What the Rangers should do is wear their Road jerseys at home and then at least they'll have a chance to win because they will think they're actually on the road and not at home.
I saw them against the Red Wings, looked like they had 30 lb weights tied to their legs. Why can't someone bring fast scaters to this team? It's been the theme for years…
I think the most obvious discrepancy in speed was the recent Sunday night home game against Detroit. They skated circles around us for 60 minutes and Quick kept us in it. That was painful to watch.

They kept up with Colorado and Vegas, pretty fast teams. With Fox in the lineup they're considerably slower because Fox is so deliberate and Fox is SLOW! This loss is a head game loss. Same thing last year.
