Ok but we had roussel Pearson Eriksson Virtanen motte etc as a supporting cast back then. Now we have a solid core of good players so I doubt they trade or get rid of everybody. Main pieces to trade away are : sherwood Kane doc and maybe blueger+ lankinen. Could trade garland too if he doesn’t wanna stay and we draft one of mckenna or stenberg

I agree. I was saying we shoulda sold high on Millsy and gotten a playmaking winger for Bo. Either way they didn’t do enough building.
1. Even if your team is competitive, you need more pieces to handle adversity and fight the top teams.
2. Even if your team has more pieces than it needs, you need a pipeline of 3+ impact prospects coming in every year. You need to make sure some players have entry level contracts, or you'll never be able to field a team to beat the contenders.
3. Don't accelerate until we have 8-10x superstars AND 3-6x impact entry level contract players in the 23-man team.
