@Canucks de Vancouver

Je pense que c’est toujours une mauvaise équipe… ils sont bons derniers en ce moment. Pour l’amour de Dieu, penchez-vous-y !

  1. if demko stays healthy, trade him. we're in good shape for the future in net. move garland, boeser, kane and sherwood. let's do this right.

  2. Who is this guy? Any geek that talks confidently out their ass can get on a sports show apparently. If we pick a centre with any pick in the top 5 of this draft, all scouts and the managers should lose their job. MAYBE Lawrence depending on second half. It's best player available at that point. Doesn't matter what. Best player, and it's a wing and D heavy top 10. At least try to make an effort of knowing what you're talking about.

  3. Demko playing well – when he’s healthy – means very little to the overall fortunes of the hockey club. He was at his best playing for horrible teams under Green and Boudreau. He’s largely been injured and mediocre since then. Hardly worth the $8.5M cap hit he’s in-line for beginning next season.
    This is a guy Vancouver should’ve moved in the 2023-24 offseason as the centerpiece to address a need at RW2 rather than dump Silovs. You don’t think Buffalo would’ve been interested in acquiring Demko to solidify their Goaltender situation? Alex Tuch is playing on an expiring contract and they’re likely losing him either before the deadline or after 1 July. That’s a guy Vancouver should’ve been all-in for at least a year ago whilst Allvin and Rutherford were busy adding 2 LH LW Forwards they didn’t really need in DeBrusk and Kane after giving up a year too soon on Podkolzin.

  4. If they can get a few players to waive their no trade clause, yes, they could lean into this last place position. I would imagine they could get some return for Demko, Sherwood, Hronek, and Sherwood. Either draft picks and/or a couple of young prospects that are already drafted. Actually, I prefer the latter option because you don't have to wait 3 to 5 years for the player to develop.

  5. Hughes was a first round. Boeser was a first round, etc. Buium was a first rounder. Now you want another one? For what? So they can keep effing up? Just lettem play.
