@Rangers de New York

#nhl #newyorkrangers #artemipanarin #igorshesterkin #mikazibanejad #nyr #rangers #alexislafreniere #adamfox #jtmiller #bradenschneider #johnathanquick #gabeperreault #drewfortescue #dylanroobroeck #brennanothmann #maximbarbashev #brycemcconnellbarker #willcuylle #brettberard #matthewrobertson #noahlaba #adamsykora #adamedstrom #jacksondorrington #jaroslavchmelar #mattrempe #brodylamb #callumtung #hugoollas #talynboyko #dylangarand #chrisdrury #peterlaviolette #hartfordwolfpack #nhlnetwork #nhlnews #nhlnewstoday #malcolmspence #seanbarnhill #artyomgonchar #mikkeleriksen #zeblindgren #evanpassmore #felixfarhammar #vladislavgarvikov #taylorraddysh #scottmorrow

  1. The rangers need to sell and build a team that can win consistently in the future. This current roster is a middle of the pack team and only because of our goaltending or else we'd be the Canucks

  2. The oldest players are the ones who we expect to be fast, aggressive, score and bring the A game every night. What does thst tell you? By next year the team will look way worse with 7 players 34 or older. The younger new guys are not 100% ready and the others are expendable. Fox and Shesterkin are about the only exceptions.

  3. Let's face it. The Rangers are quickly becoming sellers, instead of buyers. Rangers need to take advantage of this and acquire some good young prospects/draft capital.

  4. Get rid of the GM and start over. Begin with player development, then work your way up. Swinging for the fences out of the gate is not working. Baby steps first then work your way to a sprint.

  5. Honestly not seeing how this trade moves the dial at all for the Rangers…
    Except maybe backwards, as we'd inevitably trade away our young guys. Again.

  6. There is no trade to save the day. Rangers biggest trade asset is Panarin & I'm OK with his going at the trade deadline for a good haul that includes draft picks & a very good prospect. Otherwise give Rangers prospects The playing time they need. I'm sure Drury needs the Rangers to make the POs or maybe it could jeopardize his job. Everytime I see Sheary out there I get pissed about Drury & Sullivan playing this "favorite." Imagine being Brodzinski & having to sit out because the coach favors "his boy." Watching last night was boredom personified. The Rangers have no flow to their offensive game. A lot of long passes, trying to pass through checkers, when crisp short passes would be better as would better use of the attack triangle concept. That goal on Shesty last night is a pet peeve of mine every year. Why goalies(virtually all of them) go down on their knees when a guy is shooting from an extreme angle is beyond comprehension They should be standing up beside the post & that goal doesn't go in. I remember one going in off the side of Henrik's head. That being said, people who diss Igor because of his salary are out to lunch. The guy is great! If he was on the Oilers they win the Cup.
