Rui is marginally worse in DBPM than other Lakers, but he is the best scorers outside of the big 3.
Maybe putting Rui as the 6th man is a better idea.
I checked some lineup data, and Rui constantly has better impact when playing with Smart, Vanderbelt, and Laravia(defenders on the teams).
It seems that Luka is the best defender in the big 3, hence Luka and Rui with defenders should make good lineups.
A better defender in the starting 5 should improve the defense and remain competitive offensively.
