Pathetic performance obviously they have stopped playing for Berube , and if they lose tomorrow against predators Berube will be fired unfortunately.
Doesn’t matter about coach you need to fire Treiliving and start to rebuild. Trade Willy you can get a boat load for him. Start rebuilding your defence , and then worry about forwards. We have always built a team from the forwards down which isn’t how you build a team. This defence can’t move the puck up to the forwards which makes it very hard to score or do anything .
Berube is definitely not the problem. Savard gotta go. Willy, Matthew's and or Reilly gotta go. If you can't trade em then start benching them and embarrassing them. The Leafs, at least their so called stars aren’t built to play Berube hockey. They’re prima Dona’s who stay on the outside instead of crashing the net. The worst part about that is it’s starting to affect Knies play. Like Mathews and William Bystander got their money, it’s like they’re showing Knies hey, just show up and get paid.

Matthews is the highest payed player in the NHL he's currently 105th in the league in scoring. It's not all his fault but it's not right.

If they do a rebuild, RETAIN on ANYONE. They aren't going to be good for 5yrs from now. So they retain 25% on anyone, that makes it easy to move Matthews, Rielly, Willie, Knies an JT. OEL, McCabe, Laughton an Carlo have value as well. Players with a NMC contract that won't give a list where they will go, you drop them in the lineup.

This is the result of all the No movement clauses they handed out. Honestly If I were management I’d give Berube an endorsement and a no movement clause to let the players know he’s not going anywhere either. Maybe then they will ask to be dealt and we can move on. This is a sinking ship.
