I'm so over blaming the coach with this team. I'm sorry but we lost our window with a Rookie Coach (we got outcoached most playoffs) +guys not being able to get it done game 7 and then MAtthews went off a cliff and lost his drive. It might be time to rebuild and get 5 1sts for him xD
The role of the captain is much more than scoring goals. Auston m. was never captain material. Great player, but lacks the rest of the attributes required. Why is he not mad, he doesn’t motivate, that team is like a club med. Ad. Everyone is so chilled. When you go through the playoffs and not one scratch or bump and look like a male clothing model leaving until next season, you ain’t captain material.

Guys, it's been blamed on the coach for a decade. It's not the coach, it's the players/ roster.
There’s a hell of a lot of players I would sooner have Then Matthews… so stop talking like he’s the best player in the league.. cause he’s nowhere near it
1. A lot of people are saying trade Matthews, he is either hurt or lost interest, either way you won't get as much as you think for him.
2. Firing the coach makes no sense. These guys are a bunch of primadonna's they will play when THEY want to.
3. Management not being upfront with the fans about injuries is a problem they caused themselves.
4. Who really wants to play for the Leafs? The fans, the media and then you have management.
5. The curse? I think there are many of them.
Bench 34, bench 88 and give Nick Robertson a proper shot on the first line
All TOR fans need to stop spending money on a team that could care less about playing Hockey!
This is the ONLY way to get ownership to actually HAVE to make changes that are needed.
