The disallowed goal was an exercise in fair commentary. Shorty and Dave immediately said they thought it wouldn’t count. They didn’t go full homer and have a fit when that happened. I appreciate that. Shorty is a SportsPage alumnus. Paul Carson trained so many guys how to be both fans but objective too. Sometimes a play is textbook, one way or the other. We may not have a Cup, but Vancouver has seen some of the best media people since the 80s. These kids would melt down if they heard Neil MacRae every morning.

Remember the ball hog (or you were) where he had to do everything by himself owning the puck/ball.
Most of the times everything died on his stick, feet and hands while neglecting the tactics/strategies of team.
We all had Quinn Hughes in our neighborhoods, parks and arenas.
