So far they seem to have rebuilt on the run. Time will tell, but it’s a totally different team, different attitude very hard-working and very tough to play against it started in the first game after the trade. I think their schedule gets a little easier in the second half so that should help.

19 of the last 20 stanley cup winning rosters were built off of a top 3 pick from the draft with 14 of them being number 1 picks and only 1 team didnt but they had the 3 biggest draft steals in history. So the canucks trade a generational player and probally the best D Man in the leauge and instead of embracing the tank what are they doing? The exact opposite of course. Almost at the half way point and if they pick up enough points in the last half of the season they may make the playoffs or they could “just miss” again and guess what anothder lousy draft pick instead of a top 3 or even possiblty the #1 pick gotta love the Brilliant ownership/management in van.Van entefred the leauge in 1970 finished there first season in 7th place there were only 14 teams in the leauge then right in the middle??? why???

How many players have the Canucks released in the last 3 years, more than enough to field 3 teams. The Canucks were a good team 2 years ago and instead of contributing to it, they dealt away players and last year was the poorer for it. Every time a new player comes in, it takes awhile to get the chemistry going.
