   Can you guys touch on our break away finishing? It’s the only gripe I have against the Wings right now. Every time they try back hand five hole. Every time. Unfortunately might be the Patrick Kane effect.

   Idk what the stats say but am I the only one who thinks we look better eye test wise without Patrick Kane 5on5 as a collective team ? On the other hand I can see a big difference in the power play (quality drop) too and how much of an impact it’s had in his absence.

   If 1 team would be served better with nhl players not going to the Olympics is the wings. Last year were flat after 4 nations, looking way better this year wish they could just keep rolling without a break.

   Great weekend series, and good to see you guys' wrapup. The Wings are keeping us on the edge of our seats this year, and there are still lots of doubters out there. But McClellan is a class act and he's showing us he knows how to make these guys sing together. Really fun to watch, not only the great talents such as Seider, but just the wide swath of guys (Copp, Raz, JVR, etc.) that are bringing it and helping this team win. LGRW!

   Seider is great, but he won’t win either the Hart or the Norris because they’ve basically become offensive awards. The Norris is basically the D-man with the most points.

    Seider's celebration was so cold.
    First overtime goal since his rookie year.
    Lalonde should go back to jail for what he did to Mo and the team.
    Serious question—if Seider keeps this up, how can he not win the Norris Trophy? Yes, offensive award, blah blah, but what if he has both?
    Sure, Makar will probably finish the season with 20-25 more points than Mo, but defensively? Who does Makar play against, where does he start?
    I haven't understood it in recent years – Mo plays against the best players every night, he's had the toughest job in the entire NHL for the last two years and still scored 40+ points, and people didn't respect him…
    Realistically, which awards should Mo win or be in the top 3 for?

    McClellan said in the post game interview the Kasper healthy scratch was because they wanted every guy on the roster to get a game during the moms trip/weekend, touched on how its a culture thing to make sure everyone is included. Didn't seem like it was punishment for Kasper. Nice to see that though versus in the past you see guys get healthy scratched on their bobble head night.

    Boy it's fun to be a Red Wings fan atm! Detroit is top 5 in the leauge now but to keep it going we have to fix that 3rd pair (atleast ASP seem to have fixed our 2nd pair who been our biggest weakness since Hronek got traded, which ironically was against the pick that we choose to draft Sandin-Pelikka with!) since i see Albert Johansson having a "sophmore slump season" of his own (simular to Kasper, but in this instance his defensive play) after his really solid rookie season (where Edvinsson was basically his safety net, not getting put on the 3rd pair he is actually being "exposed" more then he was on the 2nd pair, since he now is told to carry a pair on his own)

    Grand Rapids on the other hand is having an historically great start to the season and everything seems to click for guys down there So a guy i would like to see (who Johansson played with a lot after Edvinsson got promoted) is Tuomisto get a shot on that 3rd pair spot before the season is over. He was actually the 2nd draft pick Yzerman ever selected here (after Seider, early 2nd round back in 2019) and he NEEDS a look to see what we have (also he is having a breakout year in GR being on pace for 15 goals, ~50 points, seems to skate better aswell from games i"ve seen this season (about half of them) which has always been his knock) before the season is ovet because he is turning 25 and actually become a UFA after the season…

    If Albert (team worst -15) don't turn things around soon i would not mind seing William Wallinder (who i actually think have higher upside then either of Johansson or Tuomisto) instead of him since WW is also on his last year of his ELC and you have to make a decision on after this season is over… It's just the diffrence between UFA/RFA that makes me say Tuomisto should get a look first (also to get Hamonic or JBD off the lineup which would be guys he would replace as a RHD) #lgrw

    In a season where Makar and Hughes are both lighting it up a la Bobby Orr, Seider is still an easy top 3 pick in the Norris race. That's no small potato. That's the second coming of Lidstrom.

    May we please acknowledge that the 'Toddfather' has instilled a hunger for winning into the team. Not just the top lines, but the whole team.
    And I mentioned it weeks ago, that Seider needs to shoot more.
