It seems when the star players play hard under Berube's sytem they get hurt. There is also the issue of the star players and their contracts where is difficult to make them accountable. One reason Marner is gone. It's easier to fire the coach and try a different system then making roster moves. This season has been flushed. Hard to believe. Mathews hasn't played at his top potential in 2 years. Obviously impaired by several nagging injuries.
