  1. Well, said those three were amazing together as soon as they got rid of a player that went to New York Islanders. I knew something was going wrong and then Miller boy nothing but trouble with the other young fellow still growing up to mature and respond into a leadership role.

  2. I hate the revisionist history thats been going on around Horvat. We essentially moved him for Hronek and all anybody was doing in this market was jizzing over Miller and how Hughes and Hronek were the best pair in the league.

Nobody gave a flying F about Horvat for 2 years. Now everyone wants to act like we didn't have to choose between getting a legit top pair dman to compliment Hughes or the big 3 down the middle. Horvat got 8.5, Miller 8, Hronek 7.25.

Now that we're here, its fair to say in hindsight the Horvat move signalled a commitment to Miller who was known to be a prickly guy in the lockerroom and on a win now timelime in his career. You can say that was the wrong move but the thing is nobody did. Even the Miller Petey feud, ppl were pissed we chose Pete over Miller. Still no peep about Horvat…

Just typical Nucks fanbase wanting to be miserable and live in the past.

  3. I’ll never overlook a good captain ever again. Horvat was a good leader nd kept the locker room in good spirits

  4. Only way Canucks ever win anything if they get few good number 1 picks and build the team abound them, otherwise in 15 years we will still be this crap, sell garland, Brock as soon as possible, they are completely useless, they aren’t NHL players if they can’t score for 15 games

  5. Yes, Rutherford and Allvin dropped the ball big-time by not dealing with the Pettersson/Miller feud much earlier before it became terminally cancerous to the dressing room. One of them should have been shipped out after a couple of peace treaty meetings with them would have shown that this was not going to work long-term. It's the job of management to manage the organization's players.
