I’ll tell you what Foote isn’t doing he isn’t tasking the most emotional player on the team to toughen up the least emotional player thereby causing division that will ultimately lead to one of them haveing to go. He also isn’t looking at players and if he doesn’t see himself in the mirror completely overcoaching them and asking them to do things that take away from what made them successful in the first place. Tochett would have had Gretzky standing in front of the net taking a beating to tip pucks in. Footie may need experience as a coach but he is already miles ahead of tochett in lots of aspects of managing players . Gotta give him a chance
