This is such a typical LA Kings Fan and MEDIA overreaction. So typical. Yes, they need to make some adjustments. They started with dumping Danault. Great move! That 2nd round pick could turn into a top 5 2nd round pick. So got some cap space and said goodbye to a player WAY past his prime. The team has been inconsistent. But they are currently in a playoff position, and I do not see a reason why they won't be in the end. The Pacific isn't a powerhouse Division. I could actually see them finishing 2nd. There is still roughly 60% of the season left. Please RELAX. Throw tomatoes at me if the Kings miss the playoffs. Until then, keep an eye on what the leadership does. If they blow it, the yes, fire them. But until then…Go Kings Go! BTW. Byfield had the "flu", like Danault. I was hoping they were Both going to be traded. Keep your head up Kings fans!

Of course Hiller needs to hit the road. The question is who will Holland pick to replace him. Doubt Sutter will return, though his post-game interviews were far more entertaining than the quality of hockey the Kings have shown this season.
From what I've seen, Dumoulin, Ceci, Armia and even Perry have played at or exceeded expectations. Granted they were pretty low walking in the door.
Foegele's injury has taken a massive toll, but Moore and Byfield have been major disappointments. How the hell has QB forgotten how to win faceoffs? Get Bernie Nicholls in here to coach him up!
Kopitar has still performed well given his age. To expect him to be as fast as he was a dozen years ago is flat out ridiculous. An inconsistent supporting cast makes him seem less effective.
Fiala running hot and cold remains bloody frustrating, I would use him as a primary trade chip.
Lastly, I remain in serious grudge mode over the lack of playing time LA is giving Helenius. 5-6 minutes per game, when he is even in the bloody lineup, isn't going to help anyone develop.

its not all on the coach, I'm sure last year is leaving a sour taste, but the reality is some their younger players have just not developed like I had hoped and now don't see a whole in the farm system. Still time

Kings should have kept the system they had back when they were successful. Going smaller and faster does not work in the playoffs and is not our identity. Would never draft a player under 6’1
Kings fans should be more worried about getting rid of John Kelly from the broadcast. As a Blues fan its really nice to be able to watch the games for the first time in over 20 years without the TV muted. I cant believe he got a job in that market.

Cmon dude, no one honestly believed this team was going to compete with Edmonton, Colorado, or Florida. Who cares about the regular season point tally?This team choked against an injured Edmonton team (while they played the Kings) that went on to lose to Florida in 6. The 4th, 5th first round loss to Edmonton? I don’t know or care. Edmonton was always the superior team and the Kings never came up with answers for it during the season.

This team has NOT been rebuilt since Lombardi did it. They are still living off the remnants of the 2014 Cup team. Kopi leaving is going to be a massive reality check. To me, no one but Byfielf, Clarke, and Turcotte, would be trade protected this summer. (I would say NOW but we can’t do that to Kopi.) That said, if Colorado (or genuine Cup contender) comes looking for a Kopi trade and he supports it, I would do it, then immediately proceed with the fire sale.
As of 12/22 were 3 points out of a playoff spot in the pacific with 3 games in hand on Edmonton.. We have 7 of the next 8 at home, a minimum of 12 points for hiller to keep his job

A tandem of Holland and Hiller means what? A failure 100%. Edmonton just couldn’t get rid of Holland fast enough in spite of the contracts to Nurse, Campbell, poor draft results, no contracts to Broberg, Holloway leading to offer sheets, poor ability in trade deals, poor results in refilling young players,…….. Any president hiring Holland as GM should be fired immediately.
Frustrating is an understatement to watch this Kings team play period!!!!! Stopped going to the games definitely not worth $500 to watch Hiller's pathetic coaching and the Kings underachieving and loosing mental confidence! Luc and Hiller with some of the coaching staff need to go NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
