    Kasper table topping his own teammate and Utah taking that opportunity to go and score was the icing on the cake for me. Just an all around circus of a game😂

    Wtf were you guys watching? They out hustled mammoth all night til the first goal, couldn't bury the puck, got frustrated and played sloppy in the third. They didntbstick with it, which is a problem, yes, but the mammoth played great d. The talbot first goal rebound was terrible, he can't do that, has to redirect that puck away from the net or eat it. That's why he hasn't been playing.

    Yzerman wings are the most boring team to watch in the league. The wings don’t check and don’t get physical and it shows.

    I bet the wings have half many checks a game as they averaged just 10 years ago before Yzerman tried to turn the wings into a soccer team.

    22:03 yup that 1st line have not been very impactful recently and with that as a fact i think moving Kasper back to wing on that 1st line makes all the sense in the world right now. Sophmore season slump is real and Marco have been playing a heckuva lot better recently but he really needs a confidence boost offensively. I get the argument "well that line with Söderblom-Kasper-Danielson been great together, dont mess with things that work..", but Finnie has had great chemistry from the get go with Danny (they live together and even their gfs are sisters lol) so I don't buy it full hearted that suddenly that line would be a lot worse…

    If you look at Danielson's stats 4 out of his 5 assists this far have come with setting up Finnie for goals, 2 have been 5 on 5 (during the limited time they tried Cat on the first line instead) and 2 been on the 2nd PP unit (that usually only gets last 30-45 secs on a PP). They have SHOWED they can produce together on limited mins. And Söderblom have been great lately anywhere he played. Hope to see this change soon! Imo, it's more important to get your top 10 draft selection going in his sophmore 21yo going then your 7th round draft selection at his rookie 20yo season, where everything he done from even making the team is a bonus. A guy like Marco moving forward is having a lot of more pressure on him to keep taking steps – you have to put him in best the position of strenght to succeed for the best of your future moving forward…

    Some will argue "it doesn't matter where you got drafted" and in some ways in agree, but fair or not, top 10 draft picks will always get more scrutinized and have more pressure on them to produce/succeed and that's just how it goes… I mean hand on heart, would Rasmussen even get a fraction of the "hate" as he have as a "whipping boy" the last few years if he was a 7th round pick? I don't think so…

    I agree with Scotty on the loss last night. We've been playing well as of late, so I'm not going to be concerned with one loss. However, if we come out flat against the caps this weekend, I'm going to change my position quick.

    One bad game, whatever. Two makes a trend.

    You cannot over emphasize the importance of goaltending. Talbot is playing like Gibson did earlier this season (giving up rebounds). The team played as uninspired last night as they did in front of Gibson earlier this year. All year one of our two veteran goalies has played like crap. Yzerman needs to bring up Cossa.

    As a Wings fan, I'm disappointed. As a sports bettor, it's games like this that explain why I don't have faith putting my $ on the Wings.

    The fan base needs to chill out😂. It's one game, they played a team that wanted it more, but look at the positives, their kid line was their best line, asp continues to seem to have more and more confidence, and they did not play as bad as you're both saying. Had they not missed the net numerous times, had a little luck with the copp shot that trickled inches away from the goal line, and stuck with it for 60, most likely they would've won and the "fan base" would be talking about how great this game was. Hang in there folks, every team with the exception of the avs loses to a lower tier team and give credit to the mammoth goalie and players tieing up sticks and not giving up rebounds.

    Wonder if home back to backs near the holiday are worse than away back to backs. On the road they'd be like oh well, we are here, may as well win. At home they are probably doing Christmas parties, errands for the wife, etc

    They just play well against Arizona/Utah. Since March 2019 they are 2-7-2 against Arizona/Utah and have been outscored 43-22 in those games.

    Whether you call them the Utah Mammoth or the Arizona Coyotes, the Wings will struggle against this team.
