why are most teams able to overcome being in cap hell? drury is in over his head. for several years its the same story, they cant bring in top payers due to cap space. look at their roster, its full of journeymen. way too many guys that may play hard but have no offensive talent!! this combined with terrible draft picks and the few that are at least nhl caliber they dont develop. this is what you see, a subpar barely mediocre team……drury must go and be replaced by someone that understands the ins and outs of managing the cap, then maybe the rangers can obtain stars once again!!
Panarin will go at TD , we will get more for him some team will over pay for a rental . Laf is gone before the end of January is my prediction along with othman and berard . Drury is about to pull a panic trade and get fleeced.
You trade laffy not Panarin or you do both. Laffy is overpaid and has quit since getting paid. But first Dump Drury and Suckivan. Thats gonna be Four straight without making the playoffs for that unmotivating toilet

Also for Dolan to think he can land a big name here is a serious case of delusion of grandeur, and he should be institutionalized.
This team is so offensively challenged it boggles the mind. Sure they are better defensively as the coaches have emphasized this to the point where offense seems irrelevant. Panarin will decide where he gets traded to, so he holds all the cards. If Drury trades him within the division his incompetence will be even further emphasized. The team is disappointing, but management & the coaching have proved that they are not up to the task. The team is so poor at breaking out of their own end & the forecheck is woefully weak. There is no depth to withstand injuries & bringing guys like Sheary & Raddysh did not help the situation at all.
Don't trade Berard or Othmann. Especially Othmann who gets better with every game he plays.
Panarin needs to be traded but you can’t allow Drury to do it. He must be fired before the trade deadline so they can bring in a GM to make an intelligent trade. Drury is a piece of shit 💩
You’re lucky to get a fourth round pick for Lafreniere. Not many people would be stupid enough to pick up that contract for a first or second round.
