1. like i said yesterday trade pasta(my fav)…he cannot help this team anymore…………………….let him win a cup elsewhere like marchy…………..he so deserves that…………..get a haul for him…..maybe 2 first and good roster player plan for the next 5yars like the blackhawks……………oh yeah get sweeney out…..hes doesnt have the skill to develop even elite first rounders

  2. There's still plenty of time to tank for McKenna. But wow, you think the Bruins are doing bad? Take a look at Western conference standings. The Avalanche are way ahead of the pack, but looks like they're just having their way against some terrible teams. The Oilers lead the Pacific and they only have 4 more points than Boston. What the heck is going on with the Jets? Went from Presidents trophy to battling it out with CHI and VAN for the McKenna pick

  3. The only trade to add, that was worth chasing, was Hughes…
Get ready to clean house, before trade deadline. It’s time to make a bunch of post-NCAA signings, as well as bring up some overdue call-ups…
    Still with Minten #fanatics #giveaway

  4. Albin Boja will make a nice addition, in goal…
Now, will that 7’ Dman be worth the draft pick, this year?!?

  5. Nailed it.

I think this is a team that is showing its GM that its not a year to invest and push.
Its also a great draft year, Let Don cook and try to pull off a TDL like he did last year and this team reloads fast.
However, What do the Jacobs want? Will they buy in to another low gate season? Or will they force the GMs hand to limp into the first round for the revenue?

  6. This was interesting. 👍The deeper analytics.

Relieved to hear talk about bringing in rentals. Phew! I wanted another Kuraly-type veteran lined up last October on Defense.
We obviously don't have the depth to maintain this heavy piss & vinegar physical game. And it doesn't do much to develop skill.

Been studying shot charts regularly after each game.
7.33/60 min high danger chances? I guess that sounds about right.

Still believe we were expecting/hoping Dobson would end up in Boston. His going to Montreal was my biggest punch in the gut this season. Already came back to bite us in the bear butt.

hurts even more as I don't think Mac is ever going to be the same after this past year. It's simply not possible.
    He's human.
We've already seen his game change. I won't use the word "decline" yet.

He's got Z to carry some of the physical load, hoping he can pivot more toward playmaking than "enforcing."

That's a very generous perspective of Joonas.
❓If Korpisalo is sent down to Providence, What are complications with waivers and who are you bringing up?

❓Do you have any Right D veteran rentals in mind?

    Thanks.
This deeper dive into the numbers actually backs up many of your predictions and early concerns.

We know the problems, now to find the solutions.

  7. they faced a lot of the better teams in these first 40 games. if they can't capitalize on the remaining schedule and win the winnable games… then they're going to be in trouble. january is going to be a make or break month for them.

  8. Discipline.
I am not to disturbed by their record and points but up until the last few games they were competing every game. They have not competed as well in the last few games. I can handle them losing, I cant handle them losing this way. The last few games have looked like last years losses. A disturbing trend.
We are back to lobbing the puck out all the time and no forecheck.

  9. Good, evidence-based analysis. To score, you have to get the puck in .. as often as possible, and then go to work. B's D is not very adept at getting it there .. too busy running around and breaking down in their D-zone.

  10. They have to play like their hair is on fire to have a chance to win. I think the pond is levelling out and they're sitting right where we expected them to be. Harder net drives, dirty goals, and a better effort from Middlestat, Tanner J. Arvidson, E Lindholm because they are not good enough. Start sitting some guys and bring some more kids up from Providence just to see what they've got and send some messages. You've got nothing to lose at this point. Move Lohrie to wing when Harris is back. Try anything

  11. The b’s are not built for this era of nhl very noticeable against fast teams the d-men are not fast enough for the man on man defensive structure there is no reason to keep playing veterans who are not going to be here when/if the retooling is complete Sweeney needs to try and trade the vets he brought in and bring up Lysell,Poitras,Locsmelis,Merkulov and any one else with speed and talent this franchise is 2-3 years away from being relevant so this being a transitional year you absolutely need to see what the kids can do bite the bullet and find out which young players they should keep and which ones to move on from this season should be about moving forward with the future in mind-the middling middle is not the place to be bruin fans will accept a step back if there is a solid plan hard working teams can only get you so far
