You're not a jerk, Eddie. If you listen to the Spittin Chiclets podcast when Doughty was on, he said all he could think about was playing for team Canada. He also stated that he regretted signing with the Kings long term. I doubt he will resign. There is something so rotten with this team, and I am not sure what it is. Hiller should've been fired during the summer, but this team plays with no urgency, passion, physicality, or brotherhood, and I don't think that can all be blamed on Hiller. Blow the whole team up.

Hiller has to go. Whether he wants to accept responsibility for it or not, his team has shown enough times under his leadership a propensity to not play to win but to play not to lose when winning. You can try and play this way the last 10 minutes of a game you are winning but his team tries and play this way as early as the 2nd period in many of their contests when the drive to score by their offense is non-existent and the team is perfectly complacent just dumping the puck in and changing all too often.
Hey let’s try to win 3-2 instead of 4-2 or 5-2 , and inevitably be scored on just like games 3&4 of the post season ! FIRE HILLER ALREADY !
I knew it was over once the Kings tried to drag puck towards Darcy so he could stop play. Then once TB got the lead I was like hiller please don't pull Darcy 🤦🏾♂️. We struggle all season 5v4 and he thinks we can get a goal 6v5 with 1 min left

I went to see the Kings in Denver…and it is clear, when you shorten the bench, your players get exhausted, they look ok for 1 and a half periods and then get tanked; last night looked like a complete repeat of the Avs game…it's NOT the players, it's the Coach! Change the coach!

If that 2nd period isn't proof enough of Hiller's inability to make in-game adjustments, I don't know what else would convince you. Hiller won't be fired because that would deny the "win now" BS that Luc and KH have been shoving down our throats.

Quite frankly, the Kings don’t have any top talent. DD and Kopi best days are long gone, Fiala is a hit or miss penalty machine, teams find a way to neutralize Kempe every game, QB and Turcotte are 1st round busts, and…Ceci/Dumoulin. The only bright spots on this roster are Laffy, Foegele, Kuz, Clarke, Anderson and Kuemper.

The best thing is to sell the team to someone that's willing to spend money to win a Stanley Cup I don't mean just Glitz and glitter someone that understands what it takes. Spin the same result and team for the last 10 years this year may change they're not going to make the playoffs maybe that'll send a message. I've been a Kings fan for over 50 years😡
100% agree! It feels and looks that the kings dont want it enough! There are so many plays that the kings have not pushed themselves to get that puck. As a long time kings fan, I am sorry to say, they dont deserve to get a play off shot at least not with this mentally they have.
